Shenandoah firefighters handle vehicle fire at Redner’s

TURKEY RUN – Shenandoah firefighters made quick work of a vehicle fire at the Gold Star Plaza in the Turkey Run section of the borough Monday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to the plaza around 6:00pm, for reports of a fire inside a Chevy Trailblazer in front of Redner’s Warehouse Markets.

All occupants were out of the vehicle at the time of the report.

Firefighters arrived to confirm an active vehicle fire, which was extinguished within a minute of arrival.

Crews from Shenandoah’s Rescue Hook and Ladder and Columbia fire companies responded, along with Shenandoah Police and Shenandoah EMS.
