ASHLAND - Someone who purchased a Fast Play lottery ticket at Smokin' Joe's in downtown Ashland Wednesday will be $112,176.50 richer, once they claim their prize.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced today that the 706 Centre Street establishment sold a top prize winning ticket for the $5 game "Break the Bank." The store netted a $500 prize for itself as a result.
The holder of the ticket is advised to immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146, and file a claim at the nearest lottery office.
Prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners can be identified, according to the Lottery. Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase date.
The Lottery notes that last fiscal year, Lottery players in Schuylkill County won more than $44.7 million and programs that benefit older residents received more than $18.9 million in Lottery funds.
