Autopsy: Englewood pair died of natural causes

ENGLEWOOD – A pair of women who were found dead in their Englewood home Thursday died of natural causes.

Autopsies conducted today revealed the cause of death for Josephine Kodis, 97, and Christine Moran, 54, who lived together in a home at 10 South Fifth Street in the Englewood section of Butler Township.

The two were found after a welfare check was called in by a postal worker after mail began to pile up.

State troopers, Butler Township Police, and Frackville police assisted in the investigation Thursday.
