Crash kills Mount Carmel man

BARRY TOWNSHIP – A Mount Carmel man was killed in a head-on collision this morning between Ashland and Hegins.
According to State Police, the crash occurred around 5:30am in the area of 849 Deep Creek Road, where troopers said Jesse Miller, 30, of Mount Carmel, crossed into the opposite lane and struck another car head-on.
Miller passed away at the hospital.
No information was provided on the condition of the other vehicle’s occupants, and Deep Creek Road as closed for the duration of the investigation.
