The truck attempted to make a left onto Cherry Street, not seeing the Celica, which police say had no headlights on, only parking lights, and the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Celica was taken to a Pottsville hospital via Frackville Ambulance for evaluation of suspected minor injuries. The vehicle was disabled and towed by Steve’s Towing.

The occupants of the pickup were uninjured and were able to drive their vehicle from the scene.

Firefighters from Shenandoah’s Columbia, Rescue Hook and Ladder, and Polish American fire companies responded along with Shenandoah Police and Shenandoah Ambulance.
