Devils fall to Green Wave in homecoming game

SHENANDOAH – Nativity fired on all cylinders on the gridiron Friday night, as they entered a packed Veterans Memorial Stadium as Shenandoah Valley celebrated homecoming.

The Green Wave’s running game specifically helped open a significant lead early over Shenandoah Valley. Among the early scores was a rushing touchdown by Nativity’s Jake Ferhat.

By halftime, Nativity led by 28-0, demonstrating proficiency in the air, despite wet and misty conditions, as a a pass to a wide open Ferhat scored the final score of the first half.

Late in the third, Nativity set the final score at 34-0.

With the win, the Green Wave now have a 4-2 record on the year, while Shenandoah Valley is still seeking its first win on the season.
