SHENANDOAH – For Shenandoah Little League’s eldest all-star squad, their season concluded on a high note, with a 17-7 four inning victory over the combination Saint Clair-Port Carbon-New Philadelphia team.

The Shenandoah 10-12 team entered the game 0-3 in their pool, as did their opponent, both clinched out of a tournament berth.

The win for Shenandoah clinched a third place finish in their pool, though, for the oldest players on the team who move up to Teeners next year, the win lets them conclude their Little League career on a high note.

Following the four-inning game, the Shenandoah players were presented their end-of-season gifts, which included a pull-over, a team photo, and a baseball signed by all team members.

Shenandoah’s younger all-star team, the 8-10s, play on Saturday, facing Cressona at home.
