Mt. Carmel student journalist covers Dauphin County Trump rally

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Dauphin County – An area student was one of the many photographers and journalists who headed down to Derry Township, Dauphin County yesterday to cover President Donald J. Trump’s rally.

Carmine Scicchitano, 19, of Mt. Carmel, was the lead photographer for a crew of Shippensburg University journalists at the rally.

The rally, held at the Giant Center in Hershey, Derry Township, drew a crowd of thousands, including some from the Greater Shenandoah area.

Scicchitano, according to an email from a family member, is continuing a family tradition in covering high-profile events.
