No injuries reported in east end crash

SHENANDOAH – No injuries were reported in a crash which left two vehicles disabled on Shenandoah’s east end Thursday evening.

The crash occurred just after 5:00pm at the intersection of Union and Centre Streets.

According to first responders at the scene, a Toyota Camry was travelling eastbound while a Honda CR-V was travelling westbound when the crash occurred.

Police said the Camry drifted from its lane and struck the CR-V.

No injuries were reported, and the crash scene was cleaned up within about 40 minutes, though East Centre from Bridge to Emerick was closed in the interim.

The two vehicles were towed away by Steve’s Towing, Shenandoah. Responding to the scene was Shenandoah’s Columbia Fire Company, Shenandoah Ambulance, and Shenandoah Police.
