No injuries reported in Gold Star Highway crash

TURKEY RUN – No one was injured when two vehicles collided at the entrance to the Gold Star Plaza in the Turkey Run section of Shenandoah Thursday morning.

Shenandoah emergency service personnel were called to 865 Gold Star Highway, the Gold Star Plaza, just before 10:00am for the crash.

According to Shenandoah Police, a red Subaru was travelling towards Frackville when a blue Ford Explorer exited the plaza and struck the Subaru broadside. 

No one was injured, and both vehicles were removed from the roadway in a short time, and were subsequently driven away from the scene.

Firefighters from Shenandoah’s Columbia, Rescue Hook and Ladder, and Polish American fire companies responded to the scene, as well as Shenandoah Police and Shenandoah Ambulance.
