North Schuylkill Class of ’68 gathers for 50th Reunion

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – 53 members of the North Schuylkill High School Class of 1968 came out Saturday evening to the Fountain Springs Country Inn for their 50th class reunion.

​The event began at 6:00pm, with a group photo at 6:45pm and a meal at 7:00pm.

Yearbooks were on display, as were displays of photos from prior reunions, and newspaper clippings from class trips and events.

Also displayed was a memory board, recognizing members of the class who had passed away. 

Their names were also listed in the event’s program, in an “In Memoriam” section, and a moment of silence was held in their memory prior to the dinner.

They are: Mabel Hoffman Morgan, Charles Zendrosky, Larry Shocik, Edward Fronk, Debra Laudeman Hetherington, Thomas Urban, Nancy Kase Sedar, Mary Miller Sherman, Robert Amend, Kevin Conway, Robert Kleeman, Jean Livergood Connors, Carl Brown, John Pitts, Frederick Scheele, Patrick McDonald, Russell Gibbons, Donna DuFour Waskow, Pauline Knipe Brocious, Gloria Foose Hennessy, Robert Gregis, Willis Schumacher, and Jane Felegi Bagdonavicius.

Following the dinner, DJ’s Todd and Eileen Urban provided entertainment.

According to event organizers 53 class members attended, plus guests, for a total of 83 attendees.
