One suffers minor injury in Ringtown collision

RINGTOWN – A passenger was injured when two vehicles collided in Ringtown Friday afternoon.

Firefighters from Ringtown and Shenandoah were called to Main and 10th Streets for reports of a vehicle crash around 3:30pm.

At the scene, a Saab sedan, travelling from 10th Street onto Main Street, had collided with a Toyota pickup heading west on Main Street towards Pattersonville.

According to fire officials, the passenger of the Toyota pickup suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Frackville Ambulance, while the driver of the pickup and Saab were both uninjured.

Traffic was reduced to one lane from Apple to 11th Street while the crash was cleaned up.
