Primary Health Network opens Shenandoah location

SHENANDOAH – Filling out the remaining half of the former Movie Gallery building on West Centre Street is a new health center.

According to Sara Rupp, Marketing Director for Primary Health Network, the organization’s Shenandoah Health Center has officially opened at 624 West Centre Street.

“Theresa Fry, LCSW will provide behavioral health services 5 days a week and Dr. Jere Wagner will be available on Tuesdays to provide family medicine services,” said Rupp. “As the need grows in the community, so will our services.”

The location fills the half of the Movie Gallery building left empty after the opening of Domino’s Pizza, which is in the plaza which also includes Boyer’s Food Markets and Family Dollar.

According to Primary Health’s website, the hours for the Shenandoah location are as follows:
Monday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10:30am to 7:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Also according to the website, the organization began in 1984 with a single location in western PA, and now operates over 45 locations in 16 PA and Ohio counties.

The Shenandoah center is the organizations second in Schuylkill County, the first being the Schuylkill Community Health Center in Minersville. Nearby, Primary Health also operates a center in Shamokin, Northumberland County.
