FRACKVILLE – Stores in the Schuylkill Mall have three months to pack up and leave, according to a report by Skook News.

According to Skook News, Northpoint Development notified tenants Monday of a meeting set for Tuesday at 11:00am at the mall.

At the meeting, tenants inside the mall were notified they had sixty to ninety days to leave the mall.

Stores located outside of the mall’s main building are not affected.

Northpoint Development, based in Riverside, Missouri, purchased the Schuylkill Mall in January for $2.1M in a bankruptcy sale. Since purchasing the mall, until now, Northpoint had failed to answer questions from both tenants and members of the media, leaving tenants, who were placed on month-to-month leases, and local residents in the dark as to the future of the shopping center.
