RINGTOWN – The Ringtown Valley was full of Christmas cheer Saturday afternoon, as the community welcome Santa Claus with a parade and event at the fire company.

Led by Union Township and Ringtown Police, the parade began at Jeld-Wen and moved through the heart of Ringtown along Main Street, before ending near the recreational complex.

Santa waved at parade onlookers, and handed out candy canes to children along the way.

Fire companies from around the region also participated in the parade, including Ringtown Valley, Shenandoah Heights, and Sheppton-Oneida.

Additionally, Valley Beverage participated, as well a person on horseback, and another on an ATV.

Following the parade, area children were able to visit Santa at the Ringtown Valley Fire Company for photos, treats, and, of course, to let St. Nick know what they want for Christmas.

Afterwards, the fire company assisted Santa in home visits in the area.
