Rush Township Police take four in warrant sweep

HOMETOWN – On Wednesday, Rush Township Police conducted a warrant sweep to apprehend offenders who failed to respond to charges filed by the department.

In the sweep, township officers located and arrested four fugitives, with the assistance of Schuylkill Township Police and Freeland Police.

Chief Ken Zipovsky said “From this point forward, the Rush Township Police Department will be proactively working on eliminating all outstanding warrants.  If you have not responded to the charges filed against you by our agency, it is recommended that you turn yourself in.  If you don’t- we are coming to get you. “

Those arrested were: 

  • Chad Belsak, 42, of New Ringgold. Wanted by State Parole for a parole violation.
  • Katherine Fergel, 33, of Tuscarora. Wanted for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.
  • William David Lee, 43, of Lansford. Wanted by Schuylkill County Detectives for Failure to Appear on charges for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Charles Zebrosky, age 28, of Freeland.  Wanted for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.
