Shen. Valley students named to regional bands, chorus

SHENANDOAH – A group of talented Shenandoah Valley musicians will perform at the county and regional level soon, and were recognized for such achievements at the recent high school band concert.
Nine students successfully auditioned for Schuylkill County Band, and four for Schuylkill County Chorus.
For Schuylkill County Band, successfully auditioning were: Megan Bell, Kathy Selbi, Kaitlyn Karpovich, Krysta Welna, Lena Bell, Rylea Gaverick, Sean James, Jackie Bubnis, and Edward Needham.
For Schuylkill County Chorus, Jackie Bubnis, Sean James, Jesse Carl, and Edward Needham successfully auditioned.
Among them, two will perform as part of PMEA District 10 ensembles as well. Junior Kaitlyn Karpovich once again will perform with the PMEA District 10 Band and Orchestra, and sophomore Jesse Carl successfully auditioned for PMEA District 10 Chorus.
