SHENANDOAH – A sea of pink shirts contrasted against the columbia blue of Shenandoah Valley’s home grandstand, as fans donned pink apparel to support breast cancer awareness alongside the Junior Blue Devils.

Team members wore pink undershirts, socks, and other items, while the cheerleaders debuted pink uniforms, as banners such as “Mini C Devils Dig Pink” lined the stadium.

Also during the game, a basket raffle was held and a donation jar was available for Mia Michalik, a Mini A cheerleader who will soon undergo surgery.

All three Shenandoah Mini teams were in action, facing the Olympians of Jim Thorpe.

Between the Mini A and Mini B games, sixth graders in the program were recognized at midfield.
