Shenandoah Police seize drugs, firearms, and “possible pipe bomb making materials” in search; Investigation continuing

SHENANDOAH – Firearms, drugs, and “possible pipe bomb making materials” were seized by borough police after a Thursday search warrant downtown, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is now involved in the investigation.

According to police, a search warrant was served at 116 South Main Street on parole violations.

During the search, officers discovered and seized two rifles, a revolver, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, THC oil, suboxone strips, and prescription pills.

According to police, possible pipe bomb making materials were also found.

A suspect was taken into custody, but has yet to be identified while the investigation continues. There is no threat to the public, according to Shenandoah Police.

Assisting police were state parole officers, and a state police K9 unit.
