Shenandoah students win awards at county computer fair

MAR LIN – A pair of siblings will be heading to a state computer competition in May, after they took home first place at a computer fair held in Mar Lin.
Seniors Kaitlyn and Gabriel Hepler placed first in the Website Design category of the county Computer Fair, held at the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit in Mar Lin. The duo will have the opportunity to compete at the state level in May at Dickinson College in Carlisle.
Additionally, Kaitlyn placed second in the fair’s graphic design category.
The Heplers weren’t the only SV students to place at the fair. A trio of sophomores – Joe Favaro, Reese Tietsworth, and Jesse Carl — placed third in the digital movie category.
