UNION TOWNSHIP – A Shenandoah woman faces various traffic infractions after a hit and run on August 18 in Union Township.

State Police at Frackville charged Donna Redmond, 58, of Shenandoah with Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property, Careless Driving, Duty to Give Information and Render Aid, and Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Troopers allege Redmond’s grey 2004 Ford Mustang, travelling on Aristes Road near 15th Street, struck a parked Dodge Ram at the edge of a private driveway around 8:30pm on August 18. The Mustang left the scene with damage to its passenger side.

An investigation into the matter found that the vehicle was Redmond’s, and she was the operator at the time.

Redmond will answer to the charges at Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale’s Frackville courtroom.
