Two Alarm Fire damages three homes, sends one to hospital Wednesday Morning in Shenandoah

SUBMITTED PHOTO - Flames ripped through three row homes earlier this morning in Shenandoah.

SHENANDOAH – Three homes on the 200 Block of West Centre Street in Shenandoah were destroyed by fire around 9:00am this morning.

Firefighters were called to 228 West Centre Street around 9:15am, quickly spreading to adjoining properties at 226 and 230 West Centre Streets.

According to the Pottsville Republican-Herald newspaper, the owner of 228 West Centre Street was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton for non-life threatening injuries.

Firefighters say the fire was brought under control within an hour of their arrival.
