Urgent Care Closes Permanently

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah’s Urgent Care by TeleMD location has closed permanently, according to a sign posted on the front door of the 125 East Centre Street establishment.

According to the center’s Facebook page for its Shenandoah location, it is permanently closed as of May 25, 2017.

The Shenandoah location opened in 2015, along with two other locations in northern Schuylkill County, in Ashland and Mahanoy City. Locations were also opened in Orwigsburg, Schuylkill Haven, and Mount Carmel that year.

On January 17, 2017, the locations in Ashland, Mahanoy City, Orwigsburg, and Ashland all closed permanently, according to their respective Facebook pages.

Currently, Urgent Care by TeleMD operates centers in Schuylkill Haven and in Allentown, Lehigh County.
