Warrant finds three intended to distribute meth, LSD, pills in Pine Grove Township

PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP – Three people are in prison after state police say they intended to distribute meth, LSD, and pills, which were found in their Pine Grove Township home Friday morning.

A search warrant was executed at 48 Berger Road in the township just before 10:00am Friday morning, conducted by personnel from the PA State Police, Schuylkill County Drug Task Force, Butler Township Police, and Frackville Police.

The home was searched, and over $20,000, over a pound of suspected methamphetamine, over 20 suspected LSD tablets, over 100 pills, a stolen pistol, two pistols with “obliterated” serial numbers, three scales, and packaging materials were found.

As a result of Friday’s search, three people were arrested and are facing drug charges, two of whom are facing firearms charges.

John Christ, 48, of Pine Grove, and Nicholas Trumbo, 39, of Pine Grove are facing the drug and firearms charges, while Cassandra Arndt, 21, of Cressona is facing drug charges.

All three were committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
