SELTZER – It appeared as though one beer giant had embarked on a territorial invasion upon Schuylkill County’s own Yuengling, at least according to a pair of tweets posted today.

Bud Light, a product of Missouri-based Anheuser-Busch, posted a photo of 21 cases of their upcoming Bud Light Seltzer product around 6:40pm Wednesday.

The catch? The cases were stacked beside the Welcome to Seltzer sign at Fishbach Street and Seltzer Road in the Norwegian Township village.

Seltzer is a stone’s throw outside the city limits of Pottsville, home of America’s Oldest Brewery, Yuengling, who, of course, had something to say about the encroachment upon their home.

“Get off my lawn.” That’s what Yuengling replied just before 8:30pm.

The pair of tweets can be seen here

Bud Light says their new product will release on January 13.
